WHAT WOULD YOU DO FOR A VERSACE BAG?
6-pack, skimask, obsessed with you - I thought you’d like that.
Falling asleep to infomercials is the loneliest feeling there is, and nothing hurts your God complex more than getting left out of a 4 some.
All of which I experienced in October.
And if you can believe it, 23 minutes after abusing happy hour at Cactus, watching my fingers rip apart a relationship on an iPhone 12, I am spat on outside the Tim Hortons on Robson.
Sleeping in till noon and nicotine.
Turning into the person you said you would never be.
You’ve changed.
I swear to God my veins coarse raspberry White Claw and my excuse of a gluten allergy is getting old.
But if I hate you, I know you hate you even more.
And if I’m a snake that makes you the ladder.

Anyways,
Things can fall apart on a Monday afternoon and that’s the worst part about it.
Sometimes your false name can’t hide you, then hide and seek becomes easy.
You can be from North Van and still hate your white picket fence life.
You can hate every white picket fence lie, and every jock who told you that you weren’t good enough.
Maybe if your mom didn’t let herself go, the secretary wouldn’t be involved.
Blah blah blah.
So, how does this make you feel?
While you speak, if I scribble faster on my note pad, would you lie to save face, or keep spilling your guts to a stranger?

I do believe most people want to see you succeed and a bad day lasts 24 hours.
Sure, I was spat on, but I finally learned to use the film scanner gifted to me by Stephanie Nelson, my esthetician. An Epson Perfection 4490.
I only decided to sit down and figure it out after dragging myself to an event, sans sleep on a long weekend Sunday, and speaking with fellow photographer, Cam.
He told me he felt like an idiot for not self scanning before, and that’s the thing about film photography, always finding a way to embarrass you.
Before parting ways, he told me next time he see’s me I better be scanning my own photos. Alas, here we are. All photos shared in this post were scanned by me, the one left out of the 4 some.
